A three alarm fire in Glendale on East Acacia Ave in Glendale required units and Battalion Chiefs from Burbank, Glendale, and Pasadena to all come together to put out a fast moving apartment fire.

It took about two hours to knock down the flames that could be seen from a large distance away.

While the cause of the fire has not been officially established, there was speculation that a Christmas Tree had ignited in an apartment due to an electrical failure and quickly filled he apartment with fire.

Preliminary damage estimates put damage to the structure at $400,000 and to the contents at $250,000.
