When G & P Was a Lot More Then Just a Tow Company

A Look back in time 25 years ago, the Corner of Glenoaks Blvd. & Magnolia Blvd, a well known Mobil Station closed it’s doors, it was called G & P’s Mobil Station owned by Gary Peterson & David Girard, they started business on a hand shake in 1964 and closed the station in January of 1987. Today G & P is still the City of Burbank Police Dept’s Official Tow Service. Peterson owns a repair shop on San Fernando Blvd, and Girard runs the tow service on West Providencia.

Gas at the time was $ 1.19 a gallon, and you were probably complaining back then at that price!
